Yep. It’s time.

This blog has sat silent and alone for some time now, but as contagious as that current office cold working it’s way through the building, the urge to start anew for Spring has hit me and I think it’s time to communicate with the world. (ready or not…)

So, where to begin?

First, have to give props (and put the pressure on - cause I’m expecting greatness) to the Event Planner Superstars here at WE - their blog Work Shoe Blisters is a great read! I always knew those girls were plugged in the hot spots and this blog lets me learn without flooding their inboxes with questions.

Second, the Vacation Countdown Clock officially sits at less than 5 days. The excitement of not working for 17days (!) is completely buried by the overwhelming need to have everything in my life in perfect order before I leave. (This is one made-up deadline I’ve completely created for myself - which I have been repeating under my breath as I haul boxes to Goodwill, scrub my kitchen floor, sort out the junk drawer… you get the idea).

Also have to take a moment (an hour?) to obsess over this week’s TV awesomeness (and it’s only Wednesday!). My Favorites:

• Neil Patrick Harris on Glee. ‘Dream on’ just got cool again. While we’re Gleeking, I’m pretty sure everyone’s drooling over this photo of Mr. Shu (rightfully so)
• How I Met Your Mother finally had the long-awaited “The Wedding Bride” film explained. Jason Lewis - thanks for the guest star appearance.
• The Big Bang Theory Flashback. This one was EPIC. Favorite mentions: Joss Whedon’s Firefly (still miss that show!), Palm E-mail, iPod/Microsoft shoutout and Howard’s outfit!
• Gossip Girl ended with a bit of a jaw-dropper - I’m not convinced of its validity. But a lot of this episode made me want to shower with cleaning product by the end: *dirty*
